Even very low concentrations are considered critical. Many conventional filters do not provide reliable results-because they bind PFASs insufficiently or because filtration performance varies widely.  <\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"4189\" data-end=\"4225\">DrinkPure filter performance<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4226\" data-end=\"4670\">In independent laboratory tests, DrinkPure was tested on <strong data-start=\"4292\" data-end=\"4323\">19 individual PFAS connections<\/strong>. Most PFASs were reduced below their respective detection limit.  <br data-start=\"4518\" data-end=\"4521\">For you, it means consistent and measurable filtration performance across a broad group of PFASs that you can rely on in your daily life.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"4672\" data-end=\"4706\">Detailed test results<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4707\" data-end=\"5820\">DrinkPure&#8217;s PFAS filtration performance was analyzed in independent laboratories by quantitative analysis<strong data-start=\"4836\" data-end=\"4848\">(LC-MS\/MS<\/strong>). A total of <strong data-start=\"4888\" data-end=\"4919\">19 individual PFAS connections<\/strong> were intentionally added and analyzed separately, including short- and long-chain substances such as <strong data-start=\"4993\" data-end=\"5040\">PFOS, PFOA, PFNA, PFHxS, PFBS, PFDA, PFDoDA<\/strong>, as well as fluorinated precursors.<br data-start=\"5071\" data-end=\"5074\">Tests were performed with defined initial concentrations<strong data-start=\"5141\" data-end=\"5165\">(50 ng\/L per substance<\/strong>) and evaluated based on measured instrumental values. For most of the PFAS molecules tested, the reduction was <strong data-start=\"5297\" data-end=\"5358\">100% to below the limit of quantification (LOQ)<\/strong>. Some fluorinated transition substances showed reduction rates between <strong data-start=\"5443\" data-end=\"5459\">91% and 97%<\/strong>. The average PFAS reduction across all substances tested was about <strong data-start=\"5535\" data-end=\"5542\">99%<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"5543\" data-end=\"5546\">It was also examined whether secondary release<strong data-start=\"5645\" data-end=\"5658\">(relargage<\/strong>) of PFAS from the filtration system occurred during or after filtration. No significant concentrations of PFAS were detected in the filtrate above the respective detection limits.     <\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"5822\" data-end=\"5825\">\n<h2 data-start=\"5827\" data-end=\"5844\">Microplastics<\/h2>\n<h3 data-start=\"5846\" data-end=\"5864\">What are they?<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"5865\" data-end=\"6237\">Microplastics are increasingly being detected in drinking water. The long-term effects on the human body are not yet fully studied, which is why the precautionary principle plays a central role. These include coliform bacteria and <strong data-start=\"1107\" data-end=\"1127\">Escherichia coli<\/strong>, among others. Although drinking water is generally controlled, local contamination can occur-particularly in older buildings or where there is long stagnation time.  <\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1304\" data-end=\"1334\">Why is it relevant to you?<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1336\" data-end=\"1588\">Microbiological contaminations are not visible to the naked eye.
